Terengganu will be boosting their squad by securing the signature of Norshahrul Idlan Talaha from fellow Super League side ATM.
The national striker has struggled for form over the last one year, though he was looking to revitalize his form by departing Johor DT for ATM last December.
But with ATM also failing to hit their strides, Norshahrul, who is fondly known as Mat Yo, has continued his poor run of form this year. That being said the move to Terengganu, which happens to also be his home state, gives him an opportunity to hit a reset button on his career.
The Turtles have looked relatively solid this year, with Paulo Rangel spearheading their attack. But even Gustavo Lopez has been a breath of fresh air in terms of creating chances; something that Mat Yo could really do with.
Should he return to form, it will be a major boost for Dollah Salleh and the national team, with the World Cup qualifiers edging ever closer.
