Norshahrul Idlan Talaha will be facing his old club for the first time since departing last year, when ATM take on Johor DT in what should be an exciting clash this weekend.
The Malaysian international previously plied his trade with the Southern Tigers, but was allowed to leave after last season, having struggled for goals upfront. But even with ATM this year, the ex-Kelantan man hasn’t exactly been able to find his rhythm, though Mat Yo insists that he remains focused on doing well at the Larkin Stadium.
“For me, it doesn’t matter if we’re facing Johor DT or any other side. I’m always determined to do well and give 100% on the pitch,” he told Harian Metro.
“I’m more than prepared; mentally and physically. It will not be easy to win in Johor itself. That being said, we’ve been improving our performances over the last few games and our understanding is improving as well.
“I’m confident that we’ll be able to pull something off on Saturday night,” he added.
This match could also see two new Johor DT signings in the form of Patito Rodriguez and Alhaji Kamara being handed their debuts.
