Give me some time to settle – Moto2 rookie Zaqhwan Zaidi

Moto2 rookie rider Zaqhwan Zaidi claims that he will at least need six more races to settle in and start scoring points in the World Motorcycle Grand Prix this season.

The Malaysian rider made his debut during the season opener at the Losail International Circuit in Qatar, finishing 23rd and  clocking in a time that was way off the pace, compared to German champion Jonas Folfer.

However, the 19 year-old believes that its only a matter of time before he starts doing well and that he merely need time to get used to the Suter motorcycle.

“I am disappointed with my result in Qatar. The machine I brought (Suter) is different from the 600cc machine at the Asian Road Racing Championship (ARRC) last year,” he told reporters.

“The World GP challenge is different as most of the Moto2 riders are experienced. They have better riding skills and also adept when braking,”
