VIDEO: African side concedes goal after excessive celebration

There’s a reason why some head coaches refuse to celebrate when their team score a goal; simply because the job hasn’t been completed yet and there’s still time for the tide to turn against them.

Mozambique side Ferroviario Maputo got experienced the exact situation recently, during a match against Zambian club K-Stars, at the 2015 Future Gauteng International tournament.

There was not much time on the clock, and Ferroviario went ahead through a free-kick, much to the delight of their players, who were extremely excessive in their celebrations. Even the goalkeeper ran across the pitch to applaud a group of school kids who were there to support them.

As for K-Stars, their heads were still focused on the game, and they took advantage of the situation by striking back to equalize, before the Ferroviario players could return to their positions and regroup!

Here’s a video of the incident!
