Johor DT officially unveiled Patito Rodriguez as their newest foreign signing in a ceremony that was held at the Larkin Stadium earlier today.
The 24 year-old forward was accompanied by the Johor FA President, Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim in a press conference, before the ex-Independiente man posed for photographs within the stadium itself.
The Southern Tigers recently announced their decision to bring Patito on a loan deal from Santos, with Jorge Diaz departing the club in April. However, there was no official confirmation on the matter, until the man himself arrived in Johor Bahru a few days ago, reiterating his desire to do well with the club.
Besides Patito, rumours are also suggesting that Johor DT are close to signing another foreign player, with Luciano Figueroa reportedly struggling with fitness and injures.
There has been no official word on the identity of this player just yet, though Johor DT’s official Facebook page claims that the club will be revealing another signing on the 25th of March.
