Double Olympic gold medalist Laura Trott has announced her engagement to fellow professional cyclist Jason Kenny.
The golden couple of British cycling have been together for two and a half years, after kick starting their relationship during the London 2012 Olympics period.
The couple were initially secretive and silent about their relationship to avoid distractions during the Olympic games in 2012. However, Laura Trott, who has 191k followers on Twitter, used the exact social networking site to announce her engagement.

Laura and Jason, who both live in Manchester, are expected to be a part of Team GB’s cycling squad at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
