Malaysian shuttle Chong Wei Feng believes that Datuk Lee Chong Wei has a lot more to think about than the loss of his World No. 1 title to Chen Long.
As per the new BWF World Rankings, Chinese player Chen Long has officially overtaken Lee Chong Wei as the new World No. 1, but as far as Wei Feng is concerned, he doesn’t think it will significantly bother ‘LCW’.
“After he has settled the case, then he can go on striving for other upcoming competitions.” said Malaysian shuttler Wei Feng to Sinar Harian.
“The world ranking can easily be recaptured by Chong Wei. At the moment, it is important that he clears his name and hope that the punishment will be reduced.”
As of now, Chen Long leads the World ranking 90,361 points ahead of Lee Chong Wei, who is second with 84,361 points.
