Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has not publicly rejected the idea of potentially making a big for Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale
Recent speculations suggest that the Red Devils were monitoring the prospect of making a swoop for him, though it has been largely dismissed by prominent members of the media; claiming that the Welsh wizard is unlikely to leave Madrid at any point.
However, Louis van Gaal himself did not entirely reject the possibility of making an audacious bid, instead choosing to be coy and ambiguous about the speculation.
“I cannot discus that with you,” Van Gaal told reporters. “I discuss that with my CEO and not with anyone of the media.”
Since joining Los Blancos, Bale has netted 33 times in 66 games, besides becoming a core part of the ‘BBC’ combination with Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo.
