Meet Tommy Hilfiger’s new global ambassador, Rafael Nadal.
The 28-year-old reportedly signed a two-year agreement with the fashion house, valued at an estimated $3 million to $4 million.
Nadal will photograph for Tommy Hilfiger in Spain early next year and will appear in the brand’s fall underwear and tailored clothing ad campaigns.
His contract also states that he will attend exclusive launch events for the brand in North America, Europe and Asia.
This is the second major fashion modeling gig for Nadal, having appeared with Megan Fox in 2011 in ads for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans.
According to the brand’s market research, Nadal had a 91 percent awareness level in Asia, 95 percent in Europe and 75 percent in America.
The Spaniard already has a contract with Nike to wear its products during his tournaments.
He also has deals with Bacardi, Richard Mille, Quely and Kia Motors.
