It’s official! The second leg of the AFF Suzuki Cup final will be held at the Bukit Jalil Stadium on the 20th of December, three days after the first leg in Bangkok.
Tickets have been priced at RM50 for adults and RM10 for kids below the age of 12, with kick off slated for 8 p.m. on the day.
This news comes as a surprise though due to ongoing concerns about the pitch condition at the Bukit Jalil Stadium. Despite having the entire pitch relayed earlier this year, it’s condition came under massive criticism during the Malaysia Cup final where it became extremely disoriented after the first 45 minutes of the game.
That led to a decision to temporarily suspend the usage of the stadium, which is precisely why Malaysia contested their semi finals tie against Vietnam at the Shah Alam Stadium.
However, FAM’s decision to utilize the Bukit Jalil Stadium, indicates that the pitch condition has been improved in the last few weeks, and it echoes well with the fans, who have always demanded for the national stadium to be used more often.
