Johor Darul Takzim have snapped up talented youth player Sean Gan Gianelli to beef up their President Cup squad ahead of the 2015 campaign.
The Southern Tigers recently revealed that they will be prioritizing the elevation of youth development next year and that definitely led to the announcement of Sean’s capture on their Facebook Page earlier today.
The 18 year-old Malaysian-Italian teenager may be young, but he’s already well known within the Malaysian football fraternity. Having impressed during his time at the Bukit Jalil Sports School, Sean was then invited over to Italy for a trial, and was eventually integrated into the youth set-up of Atletico Arezzo.
After a couple of years, he returned to Malaysia, joining the Armed Forces’ youth squad that was competing in the National Youth Cup throughout 2014. Next year onwards, he will be donning the jersey of Johor DT, under the tutelage of Ervin Boban.
