Liverpool plotting for life after Brendan Rodgers

Liverpool FC are already preparing for life after Brendan Rodgers as the Irishman edges ever closer to a dismissal, after Liverpool’s shambolic start to the new season.

Reports suggest that the Reds are already speaking to various candidates on their their vision and desire to take club forward, and they are analyzing the CV of these individuals carefully.

Speculations are hinting towards the likes of Andre Villas Boas and Jurgen Klopp, though the former is not entirely interested in a return to the Premier League at the moment. But Klopp has been extremely coy about his future in recent times, suggesting that he could open to a move should the right offer come along.

Under Rodgers, Liverpool finished second in the league last season, earning a new four-year contract, before going on the splurge over 117 million in the transfer window. However, the Reds are already 18 points behind Chelsea despite only being 12 games into the season.

Owner John W. Henry has apparently tried to get rid of Rodgers on two separate occassions, though Liverpool’s revival convinced him against doing so. But this time around, their dismal performances seems to have been to last straw, with new candidates being engaged on the prospect of replacing Rodgers.
