Women’s Doubles Pair Woon Khe Wei-Vivian Hoo booked their spot in the semi finals of the Macau Open after dispatching Indonesian duo Keshya Nurvita Hanadia-Devi Tika Permata Sari in straight sets earlier today.
Khe Wei and Vivian took only 36 minutes to defeat them 21-8, 21-16; setting up a semi final clash against China’s Ou Dongni-Xiaohan Yu, who were in imperious form against Eom Hye-won-Yoo Hae-won of South Korea in the quarters.
The Chinese pair beat ripped the South Koreans in just half an hour, and the Malaysian duo are definitely playing their cards carefully ahead of the semi finals tie.
“We played pretty well against our opponents in the quarter-final today. They were unable to follow our speed on the court and we had good opportunities to attack them,” Khe Wei said.
“It will be tougher tomorrow. We have not played against this Chinese pair before but we know what they are capable of. We will be ready for a tough fight,” she added.
