Jorge Lorenzo will be taking part in next month’s Gulf 12 Hours race in Abu Dhabi.
The two-time Moto GP World Champion is set to drive a Ferrari 458 Italia for the December 13th race at the Yas Marina Circuit.
The 27-year-old Spaniard will join Australian GT driver Liam Talbot, alongside two other yet-to-be-announced co-drivers.
Despite having enjoyed success in the motorcycle world, Lorenzo is not a complete stranger to four wheels, having contested several GT races in recent years.
