Brazilian legend Pele is in stable condition and is recovering well from his urinary infection, despite initial fears over the severity of his condition.
News initially broke last night, claiming that Pele had been transfered to an intensive care unit within the Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paolo, which intensified rumours of him being in severe condition.
However, the Brazilian himself tweeted about the predicament later on, claiming that he was never moved to an Intensive Care Unit, but his room change was premised upon personal and privacy needs.
Hello everyone, I want to take this opportunity to let you know that I am doing fine.

I was not put into intensive care today, I was simply relocated to a special room within the hospital for privacy purposes only.

While I appreciate all the visitors that came to see me, I really need to continue my treatment and recovery in peace.

Pele was initially admitted to the hospital earlier this month to undergo kidney stones operation, and he was discharged on November 13, after successfully undergoing the procedure. However, reports hinted that he could have picked up the infection during the procedure itself, and that required him to be admitted back into the hospital for further treatment.
