Malaysia’s Zulfadli Zulkiffli, Mohd Arif Abdul Latif, and former Asian Junior champion, Soo Teck Zhi made it through to the second round of the Macau Open.
Zulfadli demolished younger brother, Zulhelmi 21-15, 21-13, while Arif overcome Indonesia’s Firman Kholik.
Meanwhile, Teck Zhi bounced back and shocked 10th seed Vladimir Malkov 10-21, 21-10, 21-14.
However Chong Yee Han suffered a 20-22, 18-21 defeat to Taiwanese qualifier Lo Chi-yu.
Zulfadli is scheduled to meet local player, Wan Chia Hsin today, while Arif will be facing South Korean, Heo Kwang Hee.
And 19-year-old Teck Zhi will meet Taiwan’s Lin Yu-Hsien in the second round.
