Lewis Hamilton nabbed his second drivers’ world championship awhile ago at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, making him the fourth Brit to win two world titles.
The 2008 champion took the lead from the start and had a comfortable hold of the race, while his Mercedes team-mate and title rival, Nico Rosberg, suffered car trouble and finished 4th.
Rosberg, who started on pole, was struggling due to the failure of his hybrid system and was told to retire by his engineers with just two laps to go.
He however refused, and insisted on finishing the race.
The 29 year old’s win marked his 11th of the season and 33rd win of his career, moving him clear of his rival, Fernando Alonso, into fifth in the all-time list.
