Roger Federer has played own his spat with his Swiss compatriot, Stan Wawrinka, during last weekend’s ATP World Tour Finals semi-final.
The Swiss pair had allegedly argued as a result of a heated exchange between each other’s camps.
The world number 2 however described the incident as one of those “heat of the moment situations” and posted this photo of them and the rest of the Swiss team on his official Twitter page shortly after.

The duo are due to play together in the Davis Cup final tomorrow.
