While Part 1 and Part 2 were primarily focused on Selangor and FAM, Alfadli Awaluddin focuses on a different aspect of Malaysian football this time around.
The AFF Suzuki Cup is just a matter of days away, but the national team isn’t exactly heading into it on high spirits. It’s funny to even imagine that four years ago, we were absolutely rampant, en route to winning the title. But the manner in which we’ve been playing in recent times, sheds plenty of doubts on the capacity of the national team to break away from the South East Asian cocoon.
Thus, we asked Alfadli his opinion on the national team and the trajectory that it’s headed on and the man himself offered incredible perspective as to what’s beleaguering the state of football within the country. In the third and final part of our interview with Alfadli, he shares his thoughts on Dollah Salleh, The FAM and the problems that will plague Malaysia football in the near future!
