Schumacher’s website to be reactivated

Michael Schumacher’s personal website will be reactivated and relaunched today, to mark the 20 year anniversary of his maiden F1 world championship, at the 1994 Australian Grand Prix.

One of the aims of the website’s re-launch is to allow fans to relive his career, which includes 91 Grand Prix wins, and send messages of support for his recovery.

The newly designed website at michael-schumacher.de will feature photos, stories, data and facts throughout his Formula One career.

Schumacher retired in 2006 after losing the championship title to Fernando Alonso but returned to the sport with Mercedes in 2010, yielding just one podium.

The legendary driver remains in a Switzerland rehabilitation clinic, as part of his long recovery from a skiing accident in December last year.
