Novak Djokovic thrashed Stan Wawrinka 6-3, 6-0 at the ATP World Tour Finals in London.
The world number one tops Group A with two wins and is now poised to qualify for the semi-finals.
Earlier Tomas Berdych rebounded from his opening match defeat to Wawrinka with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over disappointing U.S. Open champion Marin Cilic, who has so far managed to collect only six games at the elite year-ender at the O2 Arena.
Djokovic will clinch the year-end number one ranking should he defeat Berdych in his final round-robin match.
Berdych has a 2-16 record against the two-time defending champion, including the 6-0, 6-2 loss at last month’s China Open final.
