Pahang FA are gearing up for the upcoming Malaysia Cup final, in which they intend to triumph and make history once again.
The Elephants had a roller coaster ride in the semi finals, suffering a 3-1 defeat to Kedah in the first leg, before bouncing back to thrash the Canaries 5-0 on home soil. However, they are now looking forward to the final this weekend, where they intend to make history by defeating Johor DT and lift the Malaysia Cup.
“There’s one more step in this tournament, and we are determined to make history one more time,” Pahang head coach Zainal Abiddin said.
Zainal also went on to sings praises of his players, claiming that they showed incredible brilliance and determination to secure an emphatic victory against Kedah.
“They did really well to win the game and did not waste their chances. We had six chances in the first half and we scored four. That gave us the advantage.”
