Dani Pedrosa dominated opening practice earlier today, clocking in the fastest time ahead of this Sunday’s (October 26th) race at Malaysia’s Sepang International Circuit.
The Spaniard led the grid during this morning’s session, with a time of 2 minutes 1.379 seconds, followed by fellow compatriot,Yamaha’s Aleix Espargaro, who trailed behind him by just 0.014 seconds, despite suffering a small crash at the end of the first practice session.
Two time world champion, Jorge Lorenzo came in third place, just 0.037 seconds behind Pedrosa.
Meanwhile, Marc Marquez, who clinched this season’s championship title two races ago in Japan, came in fourth place, followed by Honda’s Stefan Bradl and Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi.
