Jenson Button is reportedly considering making a possible move to the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2015.
His manager, Richard Goddard says Button will only remain in Formula 1 if he is guaranteed a competitive seat for next season. Sources say the McLaren driver has already held talks with Porsche, which is known to be evaluating a potential third car for the 24 hours Le Mans next year.
Former F1 racer, Mark Webber, currently drives for the German outfit as well.
McLaren are said to be still awaiting an answer from their main target, Fernando Alonso, before finalizing their final driver line-up.
McLaren are the only big team who have yet to finalize their line-up. They have not decided on whether to retain Button or his team-mate, Kevin Magnussen, alongside Alonso should the Spaniard decide to join them.
