Johor Darul Ta’azim (JDT) head coach Mario Gomez has been selected as Coach of the Month for the month of March 2016 by the Football Coaches Association of Malaysia (FCAM).
The award will be presented to Mario Gomez before the reigning Malaysia Super League (MSL) winners face Sarawak at the Larkin Stadium tomorrow. The Argentinian lead The Southern Tigers to the next round of the AFC Cup with two games left to play in Group H.
Mario Gomez’s men played six matches (two MSL, two FA Cup, two AFC Cup) last month and won all six of them, scoring 13 goals and conceding twice throughout the entire March.
“Congratulations to Johor Darul Ta’azim head coach and manager Mario Gomez after he was named the Super League Coach of the Month for March 2016 by Football Coaches Association of Malaysia (FCAM),” the Johor Southern Tigers Facebook page said yesterday.
